Ok - I'll make the assumption you mean my favourite Doctor from Doctor Who, and not just any old TV Doctor!. I'm sure you'll let me know if I'm wrong about that, and I apologise in advance if I am!.
My favourite Doctor will always be William Hartnell, not only because he was the one I saw first (I've been watching DW since it began in 1963 when I was a toddler), but also because Hartnell's Doctor had an air of mystery about him that nobody who came after him quite matched!. His motives were often ambiguous, and sometimes he could appear to be more of an anti-hero than a hero!. A quality which made the Doctor a much more interesting and "real" character!. So in my opinion it's definitely Hartnell - the first and the best!.
I would put Tom Baker and David Tennant equal second!. In his time, Baker's 4th Doctor was perhaps the most iconic of all the Doctors and definitely the most alien!. David Tennant has given some of the best acting performances in the series 45 year history, and the 10th Doctor has arguably become just as iconic today as the 4th Doctor was in the 1970s!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
