I am so confused! Why does Chuck want Serena to be the new queen!? And why is Nate mad at Vanessa!? She was trying to help so I didn't really understand why he was upset with her!. Is the Duke going to tell where his father is!? And at the very end when Serena comes to school what is up with her taking off her scarf and putting it on Blair!.!.!. so confused! Chuck loves watching drama and watching people decompensate!. He has way more fun watching bad Serena vs!. good Serena!. He also likely wants to make Blair suffer, which she will once Serena becomes Queen Bee!.
Nate is mad at Vanessa because she lied to him about the Catherine situation!. She also screwed the situation up by telling Catherine's husband about the affair, which messed with Blair's perfect blackmail plan!. Stupid Vanessa!
I don't think anyone will tell anyone where Nate's father is, but that remains to be seen!
As for the scarf, you'll notice that the whole clique was wearing one, imitating Serena's style - you'll notice she often wears scarves or ties with her uniform!. This indicates that she is now the Queen Bee, which is further proved when Serena puts one on Blair, sort of marking her territory and knocking Blair off her throne!. Just a bit of symbolism, people!
