Rachel was always the popular one in school even with her nose lol Ross was always dying for a chance with her but some other cooler guys got in the way!.
She did leave Monica in the end when school finished and moved on with a more snobby crowd of girls who wanted rich husbands to spoil them instead of getting careers!.

i'm not quite sure what happened there, i do know they drifted apart, however it shows a flash back ''the one with the thankgiving stories' when monica has become thin and chandler likes her and this is after the nose job and they are friends, !. I am guessing that they drifted apart after they left school but then became best friends again when racheal comes to newyork in the first one, were she is running away from her wedding!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well without the nose job they were friends in school then met up again before she was married and with the nose job they were still friends in school but didn't meet up again until rachel was actually married so either way they stopped hangin' around with each other!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
