Maya's ability creates a fast-acting and deadly illness in anyone nearby!. The ability is triggered when she is stressed, but she can willingly activate her power if she wishes!. Impediments such as walls or sealed vehicles don't affect the range or speed of infection!.

I'm not sure of the range of her powers but she has killed an entire family at a party, so I'd say at least a 100 foot radius!.
Her powers seem to be triggered when she's diressed, which is a huge problem because she's a very emotional woman!. As of Season 2 she hates her powers and does not want them, because she believes she's cursed!.
At first she didn't have any control over her powers and relied on her twin brother to reverse the effects in those short moments before she kills her victims!. Before the end of season 2 she learned to reverse the effects of her powers and she even started triggering her power on purpose!.!.!.!. potential for a villain in Season 3!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
