can someone please tell me in deatail how she goes blind, and what happens!? i havent seen the episode about her being blind!.

I remember this episode well, as it wasn't too long ago that I saw it on TVLand!.
I remember that Mary starts noticing she's having trouble seeing in school!. She soon gets glasses and wears them for a while!. They seemed to help, but her eyesight continues to get worse, as her father takes her to the doctor in Sleepy Eye!. The doctor doesn't say too much to Mary, but then he says he needs to talk to her father!. The doctor tells Mr!. Ingalls that Mary's eyesight is getting worse!. The reason for Mary's blindness is due to her mother having Scarlet Fever when she was either a child or was pregnant with Mary - forget which!. To make a long story short, Mary wakes up one morning and, knowing her eyes are open, she can't see!. She screams from her bed, shouting, "I CAN'T SEE - I CAN'T SEE!!" Her father races up to her bedroom and embraces her!. She says it's dark and she's sobbing furiously!. If I saw this episode yesterday, I'd be able to give even more detail, but that's about as much as I can remember!. Like I said, it wasn't too long ago that I saw this episode, but it wasn't like it was yesterday either - lol!. Hope this is good enough - lol!.
Try YouTube or do a google search on Little House on the Prairie and see what websites come up!. You may be able to watch it on one of them!. If you really want to see this episode, as well as others, go to Amazon!.com and see what turns up there!. I know the show ran for a long time, so I can't say what season (first, second, third, etc) that that particular episode is from, but I did see LHOTP DVDs in Target not too long ago!. Try Target's website and go to the Electronics>DVD section and see if they have it listed!. If not, try SunCoast Video online!
