What soaps do you watch and why?!
Question: What soaps do you watch and why!?
I have, at some point in time, watched all the soaps on the air today!. I stuck with Y&R, mostly because it's somewhat realistic, and occasionally I'll watch the rest on CBS!. I just want to know what attracts you to your favorite soap!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i usually watch y&r!. i started watching it with my grandmother before she passed away and i still watch it now!.

I first got into my soap when at the time there was something weird going on with my cable and I only got the public bulletin channel and Soapnet!. I saw a bit of all the ABC soaps, and was drawn to GH mostly because of one of the characters!. (Jason Morgan - what a hottie! Played by Steve Burton!.) That's seriously the main reason why I watch that show!. I don't know if it's just the characters or actors or what, but it easily became my favorite soap!. It was just easy to be interested in I guess!. I also like OLTL here and there - my mom used to watch it when I was younger, so I am familiar with a lot of the characters!. Other than that, I don't care for the other soaps on!. The ones I mentioned are my favorites and the only ones I have been interested in!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I grew up watching CBS Soaps; they were always on at my baby-sitter's!. Ever since I started paying attention to them, I found a great deal of interest ina particular soap: "As the World Turns!." It was my favorite soap back then, and after a couple years of watching bits and pieces of it- I started to watch everyday this sumer!. I havem't missed an episode since July 3!.!.!.the day that Cyndi Lauper appeared!. I watch it because I grew up seeing it, understand how people are related/know eachother, and love the unpredictable drama that unfolds!. Luke/Noah are the reason I started watching again, and these other past storylines have been nothing but fabulous!
Y&R!. B&B, and GL- I catch them occasionally!. GL is also a great soap, but a distant second for me!. Marcy Rylan is one of the main reasons I still am interested in GL!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

and used to watch passions but it was canceled!.
i watched passions cuz i loved Theressa and ethane and i loved timmy but he passed away in real life and that was sad!. and i just liked the outrageous story lines cuz they were so funny!. like their bollywood themed episode!. lol!.
i watch days of our lives cuz i love all of the characters!. and my mom was watching the show when her water broke so i think i was just destine to love it!. lol!. i have always loved the storylines that involve stefano kidnapping marlena and john coming to the rescue!. i just really really really feel like the characters are people i know and everything that happens to them i feel like i'm right there with them!.

In Nov!. 1978 I started watching General Hospital!. I have never seen another soap!. I watch this soap because the writing and acting are good!. also, the problems of the characters make me realize my real life is pretty good in comparison!. Luke and Laura were the best storyline ever, on any show, daytime or prime time! Youtube has some video clips of them!. Currently, Lulu, Spinelli, Carly, Sonny and Claudia are terrific!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I grew up watching Days but I gave up on it!. They brought people back from the dead one too many times not to mention kept having the same lead female character kidnapped constantly!. Plus the storylines dragged on for years instead resolving them within a few months!. I understand wanting to build up the tension and so forth but 2 1/2 years is a long time!.

I have been watching Days Of Our Lives for about 30 years now!.The reason that I have stuck with "DOOL", is because I like Bo and Hope,when Jack and Jennifer were on it I liked them too, I watch it and keep hoping that Sami can soon have some happiness in her live, and if I'm honest with you and myself,EJ Wells is one good looking "HUNK"!. I watch Days!. I got hooked on it in the early 90's when I was in college but stopped after about a year or so!. I didn't watch it again until about two years ago!. I was channel surfing one afternoon and saw some of the same characters!. Then I saw EJ and haven't been able to quit since!. He is just too delicious! (drool) If he leaves the show, I'm not watching anymore!. Seriously, the storylines are weak and the acting isn't all that!. I'm in it strickly for the lust!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
