Question: Could someone answer this Family Guy question!?
Today I watched Family Guy and it was the episode with the Y2K and the world ended!. Then at the end some lady woke up from a dream and went to the guy in the shower and she told him about her dream saying that she had a dream about a weird episod of Family Guy, and then the guy said "What's Family Guy!?" Well!.!.!. I want to if that was a parody of something!.!.!.!.and if it is!.!.!.!.could someone tell me what they were making fun of!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

It is a parody of a Dallas episode!. A show I am certain is way way way too old for you to know about ,grin>!. But basically one of the series stars (Patrick Duffy) left the show in I think the 5th or 6th season!. He was a major character, and they wrote him off by having him die!. So the show moves on, his wife grieves and an entire season goes by!. Then that actor decides leaving the show was a very bad career move and he wants back on the show!. The show wants him back too cuz their ratings are not as good as they used to be!. But what do you do, they had killed him!. So they have an episode where his wife (Victoria Principle) wakes up walks into the bathroom where he is taking a shower and says, she had such a weird dream where he had died and all the rest of what had happened in that time he was off the show!. And he basically says something like well that is weird!. And that was that, they went on with the show as if they had never killed him off!. Very funny bit of television trivia!.!.!.and they got away with it!.
