Why does US television always make rude, and mean comments about Canadians?!
Question: Why does US television always make rude, and mean comments about Canadians!?
I am not trying to sound judgmental, or anything, but anything that I watch that is American, always has something to do with Making fun of Canadians!. I am a Canadian, And I find it really offensive!.
My Canadian Soldiers are over in Iraq, fighting for the Americans country, you would think they would think about that before they made fun of us on tv!.!.!. once the Canadians realize what a foolish thing to do for really mean people, and come home from the war!.!.!. what will the Americans do without them!?!.!.!.
I just wish they would stop!.!.!. it hurts my feelings to know our Canadian soldiers are getting killed in a war that isn't even theirs and people in America think it is funny!.!.!.!.
So I would like to know your thoughts, and opinions, maybe even an answer as to why they do it!?

I'm no expert but I'd the top two reasons are this:
1!. You're one of our closest neighbors and it's kind of like having a younger cousin you always pick on!. You don't mean any harm but it's just so easy!. Britain is our older cousin (I know, technically our ex-mother) and we're yours!. It's done out of love ;o)
2!. You're too perfect! Consider it flattery in the form of satire!. We're a tad bit jealous maybe!.
We love you Canada!. We come to you for vacation; our liberals threaten to escape to the refuge of your health insured arms; we love your beer and even your hockey!. Don't be mad!. Have a sense of humor and take it all in stride, eh!.

I am also a Canadian (a Quebecer to boot) and I don`t take offence to it!. It`s all in fun (maybe with just a little truth to it LOL) For example when they say we are too polite they`re right!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
Well for one thing Canadian soldiers aren't in Iraq their in Afghanistan
