It would be a tough fight!. The Daleks would be well on top initially, but the Borg would fairly quickly adapt their shields to the frequency of the Daleks weapons!.
Then again, the Daleks must have much more powerful and sophisticated weapons than anything the Borg have come across before, if they could fight the Time Lords to a stand still in the Time war (the only one we've really seen so far in the series being the reality bomb)!. So, once the Daleks brought in the big guns, I doubt very much that the Borg would have a chance!.
also, if the Borg actually managed to assimilate a few Daleks into the Borg collective, they would probably defeat themselves in the process!. The assimilated Daleks illogical hatred of all other life forms would infect the Borg collective consciousness, and they would either end up serving the Daleks, or self destruct to rid the Universe of what the Daleks would simply see as another inferior life form!.
I reckon the Shadows and the Vorlons, from Babylon 5, are the only aliens from other series who could possibly beat the Daleks in a straight fight!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The borg are a bit dull really, they just don't have the galactic ambition of daleks!. The daleks have more determination and they just bounce back every time the Doctor thinks he's defeated them once and for all!.
Gallifrey is destroyed in the Time War along with the entire Dalek race - or so we thought but NO - they survive through the Dalek Emperor!. The fleet is wiped out again by Rose flicking her hand and BAM they're back in season 4 and pulling whole planets out of time and space!!! When did the Borg ever do anything like that!?!?!? You've got to hand it to the daleks - they're like a bad cold or flu - you think you've gotten rid of them and they just pop up again regularly no matter what you do!.
