Dr Who is going to be doing two Christmas specials (this years has cybermen again, love them) and then there are plans to bring it back for a full series in 2010 and the brilliant, brilliant, brilliant Torchwood will be back next Spring!.The team are filming series 3 at the moment and series 4 is going to be shot straight after!.
Series 3 is only 5 episodes long, but are each 1 hour long and will be aired over five consecutive nights!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.a total TW fest!.I cannot wait, like you these are my two favourite shows!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

torchwood!.
Well, 'Woodies (or Torchies, if you prefer), scripts for Season 3 are currently being developed and filming should start in the middle of August for airing on BBC1 in the spring of 2009!. Best news of all, John Barrowman will return as the dashing bi-sexual adventurer!. Though keeping more details close to the vest, executive producer Julie Gardner vows that fans "will be pleased with the casting!." That better mean Eve Myles is returning!

BBC One - Doctor Who Christmas Special 2008Www@Enter-QA@Com

Doctor Who will only be airing specials next year, not a full season (the next episode is the Christmas Special) - NOT because of David Tennant doing Hamlet, that's a false rumour (he decided to do Hamlet because he was given a year off)!.

Torchwood will air a 5-episode miniseries, five one-hour episodes airing every night for a week on BBC1 at 9pm, airing sometime next spring!. They are in the middle of filming right now and the filming pics and spoilers look really good!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Torchwood!.!.!. I couldn't care less about that rubbish show!. As for Doctor Who, unfortunately David Tennant is doing "Hamlet" in a Shakespeare troupe right now!. As a result, and because he's the Doctor the BBC is keeping, the series is taking a year off!. There will be 4 TV movies, but no official Series 5 till next year!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Torchwood apparently has a third series commissioned but I have no idea when it will air!. Doctor Who will have 5 specials throughout next year with one at Christmas this year!. A movie version of Doctor Who may also be made!. In 2010 Doctor Who will return for a full series!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
