Don't you think he deserves a mansion of his own!? He lives in a small apartment and is CEO of a multi-billion dollar corporation!? Give me a break!

You're right, Neil absolutely deserves a mansion, but apparently he's happy where he is or he would live in one!.
He's certainly got the money to buy one, I'm sure Victor takes good care of him in that way, you know he appreciates what Neil does for him, he did just hand over the reins to the company to him didn't he!?
Neil seems like a pretty down to earth guy and maybe just doesn't care to have all the extra frills rich people can have!.
Some people are just more comfortable living simply even though they can afford to live better, and would rather not have all the luxuries a rich person can have like a mansion, servants, big expensive cars, etc!.
Neil doesn't seem to be a "flashy" kind of a guy who would buy all that stuff just to impress others either, nor does he seem to be a "showoff"!.
He would just rather live the way he is going to live no matter what that may be or no matter what people think!.
My guess is it is strictly by choice he lives in an apartment and not in a mansion!.

I agree but i think what he's portraying on the show is a multi billionaire that isn't into anything lavish things, remember he is not married anymore, and i think if he was married still to Drucilla, in which she was the one that cared much about lavish and expensive things then they would've had a mansion or something, but i think his character is suppose to show a laid back down to earth father that's not as boushy as the rest of them on Y&R!Www@Enter-QA@Com
well i think that Neil is prolly happy with the house that he and Drucilla bought together,and raised Lily in maybe he don't just want to give all that up just yet, and b/c of that he prolly feels comfortable in it, and still wants a memory of Dru in there, so that can be why he hasn't upgraded as yet, who knows hey he just got promoted to CEO of Newman, so maybe he will upgrade after all, its still very early in the show to tell what he may or may not do!!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Deserves one!? I don't know that anyone deserves a mansion!. He could definitely upgrade to a penthouse but his apartment must have like at least three bedrooms and a den!? It's a real nice place though!.

I often ponder that question!.!.!.!.my answer may be a little controversial but I think it's because he is brown!. Brown people never have mansions on soap opera's!. We may work/live in a mansion like Aunt Mamie but there is really no reason why he doesn't live up to his means!.
And we can't call that apartment a penthouse because we've seen what a nice penthouse looks like, for example, Phyllis's penthouse!.

if i remember right, he owns the entire building he lives in (which made me wonder, why have so many people live in a small apt!.), and he has a jet given by victor, so don't think the house is impt!. as the title!.

I'm sure his apartment is more on the Penthouse Status!. Maybe he has a spactacular view of downtown Genoa City and nice amenities!.
