Izzy and Alex were going through tough times and she got over him and started to fall in love with Denny!. When she does fall in love with him, he ends up needing a new heart!. He is the 2nd on the list because of 17 seconds so she thinks he should get the heart!. she cuts his LVAD wire and pumps his heart herself in hopes of making him sicker she he will get the heart!.
