Question: Oprah says to tip 10%!?
So if youre in the serving industry at all, you probably have heard that recently Oprah was quoted on her website that it is now ok to tip 10% (due to the economy, etc!.)!.
My thoughts are that if you have enough money to be eating out two or three times a week (as most regulars do at my restuarant), you should have enough money for the proper tip!.
Now Im not trying to sound racist in any way, but we are all aware of the stereotypes that go on with servers and african americans!. Being a server myself for 3 years, I didnt want to believe any of it at first!. But honestly, having taken parties of american americans and being told over and over that the service was great, only to get a 5% tip on a $200 check!.!.!.!.its true!. With Oprah being the most recognizable african american in the world!.!.!.is she simply upholding the disgraceful stereotype!?

if oprah thinks it is okay for her to only tip 10% i think that is crazy!. she has soooo much money she shouldn't even have an opinion about something like that!. she shouldn't put an idea like that into peoples heads!. people can figure it out for themselves!. when rich people try to say things like that "to save money" it gets me kind of mad because they know they can afforb pretty much anything they want yet they still feel the need to "save"Www@Enter-QA@Com
