I was trying to anwer another CI question but I lost it and then discovered this one!. CI is my favorite show on tv!.
Nicole Wallace is a serial killer that just happened to cross paths with Bobby Goren!. She became infatuated with him over the years and would always play these little cat and mouse games with him!.

She was a fascinating character and it was such fun to watch her and Bobby together, being a true CI fan!. It was the best storyline ever written!. It spanned six years and whenever Nicole was around, you always knew something good (yet criminal) was going to happen!.
Its kind of a shame that shes gone now, it was such a spectacular storyline!.

She would seduce them, they would rob them, and he would kill them!.[1] Wallace and Fremont were caught when Hilary Marsden, another of his lovers who was insanely jealous of Wallace, planted two of their victims' passports on the pair!. Goren suspects that upon returning to her native Australia, she supported herself as a prostitute!.[1] Some time later, she gave birth to a daughter, whom, at age three, Wallace reported as having been swept out to sea -- but the body was never found!. When Goren receives evidence from Australia that a three-year-old's body was discovered near the beach and that Wallace's baby was the only child that age to go missing from the area, he believes that she murdered the child by breaking its neck!. He speculates that Wallace feared that her daughter was becoming a sexual rival, having internalized her father's "excuse" that a pretty young girl like herself was just too attractive to resist!. Therefore, her future boyfriends or lovers would do the same to her daughter, simultaneously sexually abusing her while at the same time denying Wallace the true affection that she so desperately seeks!.

I think it's this lady who killed her husband (in NY) and is suspected identity thief/serial killer, and has used this Nicole identity to conceal the fact that she killed her young child in Australia!.!.!. Especially if she is always tangling with Goren!.
