Same names on Soaps?!
Question: Same names on Soaps!?
Does any1 else get confused when they see a name like "Chloe" or "Victor" since there is a Chloe on Days of our Lives & a Chloe on Y & R!. There is also a Victor on Days & Y &R although I like good ol Vic' (John Aniston) Days of our lives!? Does any1 else get confused!? we need more names lol!? I'm also sure Days isn't the only soap with a "John" or a "Steven" either!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I've been noticing that the soaps all seem to use the same names, too!. With all the names that are out there can't they find others to use that aren't on every soap around!. It is very confusing!. Particularly when someone on here asks a question just using a name and not what soap the character is from!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
LOL!! I used to watch DooL and Y&R way back in the day (when the orginal belle and shawn has just started dating and spent the summer on that island where Jan got raped) and there were quite a few similarities in not only names but storylines as well!. Can't remember any off the top of my head tho!. :(Www@Enter-QA@Com
I don't watch Y&R, but weren't there two Johns at the same time that were not related!?

My soap has a name!. His name is Sudsy!. Me & sudsy are best friends, but lately I am worried because Sudsy seems to be losing weight rather rapidly and yesterday I found a piece of him in the drain!. At first I thought he was working out but now he's seriously anorexic!. Sudsy, if you're out there, please eat something!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Yes! I have also noticed main characters naming their children after their real life names!. Alison Sweeney (Days's Sami) named her daughter on the show Alice but they call her Alli for short much like her nickname!. Briee Williamson (OLTL's Jessica) named her daugter on the show Bree!. what's more confusing is that all the soaps have different backgrounds and yet they share names!. GH is gangsters and doc, give them Street" names!. and whats up with last names as first names on YR!. PLEASE, GIVE THEM ORIGINALITY!. soaps are still cool!!!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com
good question! Why are there so many Skye's and Taylors and Ricks and they just seem to use the same names over and over!. They had a Logan on GH and a girl Logan on Y & R!. Someone needs a baby names book!!!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com

i noticed that too and i only watch OLTL but during the commurcials when they talk aout whats been going on in other shows they mention a charecter that has the same name as one in OLTL!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
