Soaps are so darn long and women have to watch the whole thing every single day!.
Why not limit CBS to 2 half hour soaps per day and only show them on Wednesdays & Thursdays!.
And since other TV shows have reruns, why not have soaps show reruns!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Actually if you minus all the stupid commercials(which thanks to Tivo I can) most soaps are only about 35 minutes or so long!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
Apparently you don't like soaps!. But maybe us women should just sit around for hours and be tortured by whatever horrible shows you want to watch!. Guess maybe you prefer Judge Joe Brown over Y&R!? Pfft, please!. Those court shows are just as bad as soaps, if not WORSE
Get over it and do something else while your woman watches her soaps! If it was up to me, soaps would be on 7 days a week and be 2 hours long!

I'm a guy!.!.!.and I like one soap: As the World Turns!. They actually aren't long when they only air for 39 minutes of an hour as commercials take up so much time! 20 minutes is too little!. CBS has, in my opinion, the best soaps and 3 are very popularly watched!. An hour of a soap, only once a week, is much too short!. CBS would anger a lot of viewers!. And Soaps do not have reruns because most viewers are daily viewers!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

They've tried that 30 minute soap thing before, and most of those shows don't last!. Women want a full hour each day!. No quickie soap for us!
As for reruns, yes, I'd love to see reruns of my favorite soap!. I want to see it from way back in the 70s and the 80s!. I want to see who these people were when they were still young!Www@Enter-QA@Com

I like the 1 hour they give us, I wish that B&B was a hour long too :o)

Soap Operas are NOT TV shows!. Some soaps like Days started as 30 min shows in the old days!. The rest of your idea is ludicrous!.
