that is one way of showing the complexity of characters in simpsons world!.!. on one hand, she is a mature almost-adult capable of feeling for other living things, and on the other hand, she is still a child!. the parent simpsons, one the other hand, just like adults in the "real world", abhor violence on tv, but don't have trouble hitting kids (homer choking bart), eating non-veg food, snake whacking, etc!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
