This was the season 2 finale!. Um, a lot happened next, there were 2 more seasons!. Isaiah Washington's departure from the show (I assume that's what you were asking!?) was explained by Dr!. Burke realizing on his wedding day to Cristina that she could never love him like he wanted her to, so he leaves her at the altar, moves out of their apartment, and takes a job at another hospital!. He hasn't been back on the show!.
