Question: What happened during the second season the of the TV show 'Heroes'!?
I saw the first season - "Save the cheerleader, save the world!." But, I missed the entire second season!. I plan on watching the 3rd season, but was hoping someone could give me a quick run-down of what happened during the 2nd season so I'll know what's going on!. Thanks in advance!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

hiro goes back to 17th century japan, where he makes friends with his childhood hero takezo kensei!. together they become good friends and heroes!. a fight breaks out and kensei betrays him, and is seemingly killed in an explosion!.
peter has forgotten his memories, he wakes up in Ireland!. he makes friends with a group of thugs, falls in love with caitlin, one of the thugs sister!. a member of the company shows up and kills the thugs, peter and caitlin escape to montreal, where he accidentally takes them to new york in the future!. he loses caitlin and discovers that 93% of the world is destroyed by the shanti virus!.
suresh is working with the company, he discovers that he must combine his blood with claires to stop a recently mutated strain of the virus and to save niki!. in a dispute, he shoots Claire's father in the eye!.
micah's living with relatives in new orleans, he has a cousin who copies whatever she sees!. she is captured by a gangsters after an attempt to take back micah's comics and DL's medal!. niki dies rescuing her!.
maya and alejandro are out to new york to find dr suresh to cure maya of her power, evading the police after maya accidentally killed several people!. they meet sylar, who befriends maya, kills alejandro and shoots maya!. he regains his powers after a dosage of claires blood!.
peter meets adam monroe, who turns out out be kensei 400 years later!. adam is determined to release the shanti virus and destroy the world!. hiro, nathan and peter corner adam right before he releases the virus, and hiro teleports adam underground!.

The second season was pretty bad!. Bad enough that the creator apologized to the fans!. You may not want to watch it, especially since they'll be airing a clips show before the season premiere to catch viewers up!. The season was a mess - new characters who were annoying at best, plotlines that made no sense, older characters ignored or acting bizarre!.!.!.it was really, really bad!.
Season 2 will be released on DVD on August 26!. Why not just rent it!? It's only 11 episodes!. And if we have to suffer through Maya, so do you!.
