Question: Supernatural season one question!?
Okay, I'm a huge Supernatural fan and me and my sister are in argument over a scene in a certain episode!. I just want to get a vote and see if I'm right!. In the episode "Provenance" there's a scene where Dean, Sam, and Sarah are investigating the killer painting!. Sam is inspecting it and Dean is looking at a photocopy of it!. Now, I swear he says "Hey Jared, check this out"!. But my sister says he says "Sam" because it says Sam on the caption!. I distinctly hear Jared though!. What do all of you think!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Hi - as one Supernatural fan to another I can tell you that yep, you're right - Jensen does mess up his line and say 'Jared' in that scene!. On the subtitles it says that he says 'Sam' because that's what was in the script - but he does in fact say 'Jared, check this out'!.
Take a look at this video of that scene from youtube - you can hear Dean saying 'Jared' pretty clearly - and it's a cute video too ; )

Jensen has fluffed his lines a couple of times and he just stayed in character so they kept filming!. If you watch the season 2 episode 'Crossroad Blues' - as Sam and Dean are climbing the stairs to George Darrow's apartment you can hear Jensen sort stumbles over his lines but just keeps going with it anyway!.
also, in the season 3 episode 'The Kids Are All Right' when Lisa kisses Dean at the end - that wasn't in the script - so what you see is Jensen's actual reaction to it!. It's pretty cute

I'm also a huge fan of Supernatural and I have also seen this episode many times!. I have asked my friends this and they also agree that it does sound like he says "Jared", but I've tried searching for hard evidence to this back this answer up but I just can't find any!.
