do we just love to see how rich people live with their great cars, shopping sprees and hilly tops!? i mean lets face it, the hills is a load of made up **** we've all seen before yet we're hooked!

I don't watch The OC but I do watch The Hills!. I think I like it because it's kind of good for my ego! I like seeing people my age who seem to have it 'all' but still f$&k up in HUGE ways- way more than I ever would!. Like, I would never turn down a trip to Paris for a guy; I would never let a guy treat my family like crap; I would never date a guy who cheated on me in front of my face!. Yet these girls do because they're so insecure that they need to be in a relationship to make themselves feel good!. I think we like watching shows like this to see how similar we are, or could be, to the characters!. Lots of girls have ex-best friends, are dating boys that aren't good for them, get told off by their boss, and so on!. Even though they have all that money and great clothes, cars, apartments, and looks that we admire and want for ourselves, they still have fights and get sad!. So we watch it to compare ourselves to them- a) to take inspiration from what they do, say, and have, and b) to make ourselves feel better in the fact that nobody has it 'all'!Www@Enter-QA@Com
Who LOVES those shows!? I don't even watch the Hills and I've never seen an episode of the OC!. Tried to once, but reminded me of a soap opera and I can't stand those either!. No idea why people even LIKE those shows!. Boredom, maybe!? No life!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

The Hills and The OC are my two all time favourite shows!. It doesn't mean I'm shalow or anything and that I have no taste!. It's just that they are both fun, easy to follow shows!.
