Question: ABOUT THE SHOW "THE HILLS"!.!.!.!?
Has anyone else wondered why Lauren doesn't have any friends who aren't Caucasian!? What's up with that!? I heard MTV actually searches for people to cast as Lauren's friends (Audrina admitted that she was cast to play the "friend" roll" and was discovered while sitting at a pool)!. LA is so ethnically diverse and it's a shame that MTV chooses to keep "The Hills" all "white"!. What do you think!? Www@Enter-QA@Com

To Amy L: A lot of reality shows are staged (for plot purposes)!. However, there are genuine stuff that happens in terms of relationships/interactions with people!. Especially for those long/dating shows, they were all casted /chosen, usually, they know each other, etc!. (a customer of mine was casted a few years back and told me all about it)
So in this case, Audrina could have been casted off to be Heidi's friend!. Get the drift!? Or if given the benefit of the doubt, she happens to be Heidi's first LA friend right off the first episode ;) I still like The Hills though, but I don't take it seriously!. LOL!.
So you can't take "reality television" very seriously!. Because honestly, if they did actually have a genuine "reality show", it would be boring!. The demand for reality TV is so high that they have to make "themes" for certain episodes, etc!. For example, Run's House (and for every other show), they have themes (hence its staged for storyline purposes) but they are genuine in terms of how they react and personal issues are true too!. they met through heidi and spencer who've been friends for a long time before lauren came in!.
and maybe its cause lauren is just surrounded by white people

LOL i noticed that too!.!.always wondered that!? I wonder if she has any friends who are non white!.!. yea there was one overweight person on laguna, but she really wasn't even that "fat"!. I still love the show though, but yea I do wonder that!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
well actually and i hate to point this out but in laguna beach there was one girl that was over weight!. but i do agree with you mtv does need to find more diverse people for the showWww@Enter-QA@Com
