Question: Nickelodeon & Disney Channel Role Models!? (look inside!)!?
Okay, T!.V!. Channels like Disney Channel and Nickelodeon and Parents and Teachers etc!. are always telling kids that they don't have to be skinny or look like the people they see on television, in movies, and in magazines!. Agree!?
So why doesn't Nick or Disney put some kids that aren't totally skinny on there shows!? It probably would help with all the health problems and stuff like that!. More kids would be happy with their bodies!.
I'm not saying that Disney and Nick and channels like that should make every star obese from now on, just have maybe a few kids with
something more than skin on their bones!. To look up to ya know!?

I totally agree!. The only person that I could think of that was chunky and on Nick was Josh Peck!. But there were still the occasional fat jokes about him on All That, The Amanda Show and Drake and Josh (until he lost weight of course)!.
Dylan Sprouse isn't stick skinny but he is just about average!. But besides that every normal - fat kid on disney plays the part of a weirdo!.
But t!.v!. shows aren't the only ones doing it!. Teen magazines like CosmoGirl, Seventeen and Teen Vogue often feature articles about anorexia and it's relationship with the media, however all of these magazines continue to employ anorexic-looking models!. Hypocrites!.

i must agree,its not just body image either,its how these kids are conducting themselves as they get older,spotlight+fame does this and poor parenting!.poor kids most are born into movie+tv falmilys anyway and dont know much difference!.
i do remember seeing early disney movies of these kids and a few more like zac+cody etc,they werent always,trim+taut+pretty!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

yeah i agree!. they make people who aren't that thin wish they were like them and put them through health risks and plus it's hard for the stars because they are judged by their looks also!. haven't you seen when celebs are too skinny or overweight they are always talked about!? they can't do anything but try to stay fit!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
