Gaara turns into a complete freak in Naruto! I usually watch Nruto in the morning with my brother on Saturdays, and one day I was watching this episode and I saw Gaara half human and half ugly monster! I mean, I always knew that Gaara was emotionally insecure, but I never thought he would turn into a beast! What happened!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

when Gaara was still in his mother's womb, his father (the Kazekage) and Chiyo (A village elder) sealed a sand spirit demon known as Shukaku inside of him!. As a result, Gaara's mother died giving birth to him!. Gaara can't sleep due to the risk of Shukaku taking over his body and the possible mental destruction the sand spirit would do to him!.
Shukaku is the source of Gaara's sand jutsu and manipulation!. Gaara can become possessed (as in that episode you saw), half himself and half Shukaku!. Gaara can also do the Playing Possum Jutsu where he forces himself to fall asleep and let the Shukaku fully take over!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
