So, on the night, while a pre-recording of Yang Peiyi singing was played, Lin Miaoke, who has already featured in television advertisements, was seen but not heard!.
"The audience will understand that it's in the national interest," Chen said in a video of the interview posted online Sunday night!.
But the real voice behind the tiny, pigtailed girl in the red dress who wowed 91,000 spectators at the National Stadium on opening night really belonged to 7-year-old Yang Peiyi!. Her looks apparently failed the cuteness test with officials organizing the ceremony, but Chen said her voice was judged the most beautiful!.

I also agree that it's sad, but i also agree that China is not the only country that puts appearances first, and neither is the USA!. Every country does it!. It's sad, but until people stop judging each other it won't end!. So in fact to judge the Chinese and wanting to nuke them for this is encouraging separation between all people and encouraging us to judge others leading to more prejudices!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
while i think it was a terrible thing to do- china Is NOT the only country that puts LOOKS above everything else-
in the usa ( epecially for women) How you LOOK is the main thing- whether you are 12 or 65-
you Have to be thin( but have big breasts), no wrinkles or celuilte EVER and women epecially Must Stay Young looking at all costs
-must wear the Right clothes- etc- the usa is probably the Worst of this on this subject!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think it's horrible!. I heard that they didn't like her because she has a chubby face and uneven teeth!. She's 7 years old!!! Most 7 year olds are just getting their adult teeth, so they are going to be uneven!.!.!.it's completely normal! I wonder how she is going to feel from now on!.
