Question: Recommend a good tv show!?
okay, with my job i do not have time to actually watch tv shows when they are on so i just stopped watching tv, but recently at night i have been watching some shows on surfthechannel!.com
so far ive caught up on scrubs, house, and smallville
and due to the fact that i do not have tv i do not really know what shows are good
so recomend some good shows
im preferably looking for like a comedy/drama style show
like scrubs
any ideas!?

Yay this is a fun question to answer! And by the way, you should totally get DVR or Tivo!. I didn't realize how great it was until I got it!. It records shows you want it to record on your tv so you can watch them whenever you want!. You can also get netflix and rent DVDs of tv shows!.
Here are the shows I watch!. I watch a lot of tv!.!.
Friends (comedy: the most well-written show I have ever seen, went on for 10 years)
Grey's Anatomy (hospital drama with comedy)
Gilmore Girls (if I need to classify it I would say it's a dramedy but that doesn't really describe it!. It's in it's own category, which is a good thing!. Amazing dialogue with superb acting)
Desperate Housewives (drama with some comedy where it's needed!. I do not understand how they come up with the story lines they come up with)
Will and Grace (the most originally hysterical show I have ever seen!. AKA you will laugh your f*cking a$$ off)
Private Practice (spin-off of Grey's Anatomy)
Gossip Girl (drama) (It does not matter if you are a teenager or a 50 year old, this show gets addicting after about the 4th episode!.) I'm not 50 by the way lol!.
House
Samantha Who!? (comedy)
Roswell (sci-fi drama)
Sex and the City (although if you're a straight guy, I don't know if you would like it, the show is directed mostly towards women and gay men)
Chelsea Lately (she is a HYSTERICAL comedian and it's a comedy talk show but the actual interviewing is only a tiny part of the show)
I also hear that Lost and Heroes are good shows, both dramas!.

Scrubs is great, I love it, and if you like House, then ER is another classic that is excellent!.
Lost is a famous one- I didn't watch it before because it didn't look good on previews, but when I started watching, I LOVED it!. Start from the beginning though!. It's adventure, and really suspenseful, and incredibly well-written!.
That 70's Show is a great comedy, a lot like Scrubs, I think!.
