I disagree with you all!. Though you may not like Adam, he is an intelligent man and much like his father!. Victor trusts him enough to have willed his fortunes to him!. The business should be run by family and since Nick and Vicky left because they didn't see eye-to-eye with Victor, that leaves Adam!. Nikki was remarried which showed she severed her relationship altogether!.
As for are they acting appropriately!? Yes, in view of the circumstances I think they are all acting just as they should be!.

Definitely NOT Adam - he's too young and inexperienced!.
Neil is probably the best choice!. He's been acting CEO before, and has been Victor's right hand for a long time!. He's definitely got the most experience and deserves the opportunity after his years of loyalty!.
That said, it would make for better drama if Nikki was put in charge!. Can you imagine the fallout when Vic comes back!? How about her interactions with Adam and her former colleagues at Jabot!? It would be so much fun!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

IT SHOULD BE NEIL!!!!!!!!! No doubt about it!. Adam is an arrogant ***!. He just assumes that b/c he is a Newman he should be running the show!. Little does he know!.!.!.as long as Victor is around & alive no one else ever completely runs that company!. Not even Victoria & Nicholas!. And to tell the truth not even Neil!. Victor left Neil in charge, but Adam's going to claim because he is the only Newman left in Victor's will, he is taking charge!. He will legally fight Neil if he tried to take over (using Heather as his legal council to get control of Newman Enterprises)Www@Enter-QA@Com

i think Neil should he is a great friend to Victor and he's not family so no family isses will interfere and he knows Newman inside and out and he will do what is best for the company not what is just best for him!!Www@Enter-QA@Com
