Question: Why do Corrie and Emmerdale nearly always copy each other!?
We've had the baby switch now we've got the 'writing a book and people think they are in it' story!.
Surely they don't have the same writers or does someone having a crafty sneak over someones shoulder!.
It spoils it somehow, they should be completely different shouldn't they!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think the problem goes beyond those two soaps and into others!. I remember once when those two and Eastenders all had a similar plot line!. Hollyoaks does it too sometimes!. I don't think they share scriptwriters but I guess there is only a limited number of options depending on the characters and their relationships!. I think they are all on too much these days!. If they were just once or twice a week they could spend more time on a quality script!. I guess the only differences these days are the settings and the individual characters so it's probably best to stay faithful to the one show you like the best!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
