The first answer is incorrect!. The Mole gets paid a separate, unknown "flat rate!." They do not keep the money they kept out of the pot, otherwise they could just blatantly sabotage every single mission, keeping $500,000 for themselves, leaving the winner with nothing! That wouldn't be fair! In many other editions, the Moles do get to keep the money, which is kind of cool!. My perfect way of doing it would be: All money kept out of pot divided by how many times they were chosen on a quiz!. That way, they still need to keep a low profile!. But that was if I were the producers!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Actually it's never disclosed how much they get!. In other countries, the Mole may get that money, but in the U!.S!. version they never tell how much money they get!. They do however, get paid because it's mentioned in the opening that they are being paid to deceive the others!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
