Question: One Tree Hill guys - who is who!?
Okay - so far I got that there is Lucas Scott and Nathan Scott!. How are they related - are they brothers!? And if so why doesn't Lucas live with them!. Is the coach related to Nathan and Dan Scott - and the guy in the first episode - is he related to the coach and Lucas!?
I am so confused and if someone would just give the names of the main people in the first episode of the fist series with detailes of who they are related to that would really help solve my confusin

Ok, let's see!.!.!. Lucas' mom is Karen and she got pregnant for Dan in high school!. Dan is Nathan's dad and he wanted nothing to do with Karen and the baby!. Growing up Karen took care of Lucas on her own with no help from Dan but she did have help from Dan's brother Keith!. He was like a dad to Lucas!. Lucas and Nathan found out they had the same father in high school because they both were on the basketball team!. Dan now wants to be a part of Lucas' life (but he's a creep)!.!.!. this is not a spoiler!.!.!. you will find this out soon enough!. The coach is not related to either of them and I don't know which guy in the first episode you are talking about!.!.!.sorry!.
There's also Peyton, Brooke and Haley!. Not to give anything away but they all play a huge part in Nathan's and Lucas' lives!.

karan and dan were highschool gf/bf then she was pregnant and he left to go to college and abandoned her baby who was lucaS!.
at college he met deb who got pregnant and had nathan !. but he stayed with her,
dans brother is keith who was always there for karan so he is close to her and lucas!.
lucas's best friend is hailey!.
nathans gf in season 1 was peyton !.
peytons best friend is brooke
brooke likes lucas and so does peyton in season 1!.
the coach isnt realeated tehy all know him he used to be coach when karan and dan went to the school too!.

ok lucas is the illegitimate child of karen and dan!.!.!.!.dan later married deb and had nathan!.!.!.!.not until lucas tried out for the Tree Hill basketball team did he realize him and nathan had the same dad!. coach whitey is not related to anyone--but he was dan's coach when dan was in high school!. Keith is Dan's brother and treats Lucas like a son!.!.!.he also has a thing for Karen!. Haley is Lucas' best friend!. Brooke and Peyton are best friends and on the cheerleading squad!. Peyton is dating Nathan but she and Brooke later compete for Lucas when he joins the "group"!.
