turn to the same bottle of whisky and the women turn to the same bottle of vodka!.

I know! Not that many people like vodka straight so it doesn't make sense!.
I think that they often have vodka because they can just use water as a prop so doesn't cost much!. Whisky I'm not sure but I'm sure it's easy to colour the water!. I guess Baileys would be harder to fake!.

Not in Eastenders!. It's because when they drink anything it has to be either water as vodka or apple juice as whisky!. If you will notice too, all the spirit drinks they have (and the beer) are made up names for the show!. They are not allowed to advertise!.
