why can't zainab, shabnam and tamwar's surname be ahmed!? why is their surname the father's first name!? is this a muslim tradition or what!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think you're right about the children's surname being the same as their father's first name, but it's a bit confusing!. Maybe you can ask in the Ramadan section!? Anyway, look at this article, it may help!. I know the Masoods are Pakistani not Arabic, but it may be the same for all muslims!.
