Question: Shear Genius last night
Does anyone else agree with me that to have these six stylists who are left on the show cut dog's hair is a waste!? I don't know how that proves you are a good stylist!?

I think you are correct to an extent!.
I don't think the challenge hinged on them ACTUALLY doing such a precise job on the dog as much as it did the human!. And trying to give the person a " similar look " !.
You know how they always say people start to look like there dogs after a while, well I think that's what they were trying to do !.
Make the human look somewhat like the dog!.
A half hearted attempt on the dog would of gotten the job done!. Like the Labradoodle with the Hair extensions and a barrette on her head , which they all loved!. And that made it match the person !.
But if the challenge had been to simply groom a dog !.!.!.
Yeah that would of been a waste of time!.And has nothing to do with being a good hair dresser in my opinion!.
All in all I think that both of the challenges last night were ridiculous!.
Like what does putting all that crap, squid, molasses, sugar , etc!. have to do with using actual " green products " !?
Why not actually give them hair care products made with only natural ingredients to use instead of the regular ones!. That way everyone could see the benefits of using them!. Duh !Www@Enter-QA@Com

I agree and they were not happy about it I can't remember the guys name but the one with the glasses who was in the bottom 3 spoke up about it!. He said he had no intentions of cutting the dogs hair and doesn't plan on ever trying it again in the future!. No one else said anything about that to the judges and I think they were wimps for not saying it!. The judges although disappointed he didn't try had to agree with him and let him stay!. I think there would have been a major problem had they dismissed him!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I completely disagree!. The dogs that were included in this challenge are all breeds that have human type hair!. If you are able to cut and style human hair you should have been able to cut and style the dog's hair!.
The point of the challenges is to take the stylists out of their comfort zone and to try new things!.
I believe the judges would have gotten rid of Charley for his comments expect Nik has been soooooo bad through out most of the challenges that felt she had to go!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i agree human hair and dogs hair are differrent textures lol and also they are on the show because they want a hairdressing career with humans not grooming pets!.if i was on the show and they got me doing that i would be thinking wtf!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
