Question: OLTL: Were Todd and Marty ever romanitcally involved after Spring Fling 1993!?
I used to watch One Life to Live religiously when Roger Howarth played Todd Manning!. (I loved RH as Todd, although I like Trevor St John as Todd too!.) Anyway, I stopped watching as religiously when RH left, although sometimes I still watch every now and then!. I noticed that Susan Haskell was back as Marty so I tuned in for a few episodes!. Maybe I'm crazy but it kind of feels like the writers might to have Marty and Todd fall for each other on the show right now (not sure how to feel about that)!.
I was discussing it w/a friend and she said it was no biggie b/c they were already romantically involved!. I pointed out that I didn't think they had been romantically involved w/each other since BEFORE the Spring Fling of '93 and that after the rape, they had reached an uneasy understanding, a weird kind of friendship (sometimes) but that was it!. And she insisted I was wrong!. So, can anyone fill me in!? Were Marty and Todd every romantically involved, after the Spring Fling!.
RH and SH had great on-screen chemistry together, and they were always intersting to watch but I didn''t think they were anything except (sometimes) friends after the rape!. Am I right or wrong!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Not after the Spring Fling but they had a one night stand before the rape!. That is why he raped her, he tried to hook up with her again and she rebuffed him!. So the rape was revenge!. Marty did however forgive him and they were on civil terms and she had even came back to testify that he is reformed and would never rape again when Blair accused him of rape!. Then when they recast Marty, she came back with a full on hate for Todd which is not how they were a few years before!. He apologized and she accepted and they were certainly not friends but there was NO animosity there!. You are certainly right too SH and RH had amazing chemistry!. NO-Todd and Marty were never romantically involved after the rape!. They did have a one night stand before the rape, but Marty rejected Todd's attempts to "hook up" again after he very rudely walked out on her after their first sexual encounter!.

No, they never were romantically involved!. After the Spring Fling, and the trial, they moved on their own!. Marty met and married Patrick Thornhart and Todd was doing his thing!. Todd almost raped Blair, but married her!. They have an on/off relationship and are now divorsed!. Todd helped MArty and that is where they are now!. I sure hope nothin goes on between those two!. To me, it's always Marty an dPatrick although I was warming to the idea of a Marty and John relationship!. And Todd belongs with Blair, no doubt!.
