Well, you should watch some of the more important episodes from the old version first - Artemis has it pretty well covered there, so I'll give my opinion on the new seasons!.

Season 1 has a great three-part finale, though you have to watch the entire season to get it like you should!. Still, it has some good episodes, and half the season includes my favorite character in the entire show =) Season 2 is mostly not so great, with the exception of "The Girl in the Fireplace" and "The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit" episodes!. Season 3 is awesome - it's got most of the best episodes in it, including "The Shakespeare Code", "Human Nature/Family of Blood", and the very scary "Blink"!. However, the finale isn't as great as season 1, and I felt like the ending was a bit of a cop-out!. Season 4 was pretty good all around, it referenced a lot of previous episodes, and the finale was a giant 3-way crossover, with characters from the original run of the show, past seasons, and both spin-offs!. However, the finale ended with a major cop-out, and considering how it all had been building up it felt like a let-down!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

A lot of the old episodes from the 1960's were unfortunately destroyed by the BBC so that narrows down the choice for you a bit!.

If you're interested specifically in the episodes from the 1960's I would recommend starting with the very first Doctor Who story 'An Unearthly Child' because that's where it all began really!.

The first story featuring the Daleks is - 'The Daleks' ; ) & this is the second Doctor Who story!.

Another must-see First Doctor story is 'The Dalek Invasion of Earth' - this one is a classic!.

'The Tomb of the Cybermen' and 'The Mind Robber' are two of the best stories from the Second Doctor's era!.

These are all available on DVD or if you don't want to buy them, you can watch them online at http://www!.surfthechannel!.com/show/telev!.!.!.

This site is great - most of the classic series episodes are there now!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
