Buffy died, fulfilling the prophecy of her death, which called Kendra!. Even though Buffy was brought back, the slayer line technically no longer ran through her, but through Kendra, then Faith, which is why when she died in "The Gift" no one else was called!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

faith didn't come b/c kendra died!. she came b/c she was afraid of kikistos who she watched murder her watcher so she thought two slayers would be better to go up against him!. faith was in jail by the time the episode (the gift) aired!. now since technically buffy died but in order to hide that fact they had the buffybot pretend to be the real buffy until they figured out away to bring her back!. so no one knew the real buffy was dead and since faith is alive,i mean in jail but the fact is she was still in jail which technically still made her an active slayer,the fact that she was still breathing!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Buffy died for a moment in the first season, even though she was revived by Zander, which activated Kendra!. Once that was done Buffy was no longer in the mystical line of the slayers!. Next Kendra dies that activates Faith!. When Buffy dies in season 5 she is already technically dead!. For another slayer to be activated Faith would have to die!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think you already answered your question!. When Buffy died at the end of season one, Kendra was called!. And after Kendra died, Faith was called!. But Faith was still alive when Buffy died at the end of season 5!. So, there was no need to call another slayer!.

Freedom Fighter: Faith showed up in Sunnydale because she was running away from Kakistos, but she was "called" to be a slayer months earlier, when Kendra died!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
