BBC TV......channel?!
Question: BBC TV!.!.!.!.!.!.channel!?
I ve been watching a few shows on this channel!.!. Online at work and I have noticed that one in piticular has a cussing in it!.and I dont mean little swear words, I mean a few time someone has said F*CK!. I;m fine with it all but have wondered are TV stations overseas different then US tv!.!.!?
Or is BBC Tv a cable channel!.!?

Here in England BBC is the main broadcaster!.!.!. they have 5 channels that i know of: BBC1, BBC2, BBC3, BB4 and BBC News, broadcasting a wide range of different media
BBC1 and BBC2 are available on normal (terrestrial) TV that doesn't require cables or a satellite dish, just a TV license!. The other three BBC channels require these 'extras'
If you have been watching them on the Internet, from 'BBC iplayer' in particular, then it is very probable that it assumes you are over the the age limit that would allow you to watch that kind of material!. You probably had to tick some kind of agreement that you're over a certain age, right!?
In England they have a thing called 'pre-watershed' and 'after watershed' time- i don't know if they have a similar thing in the US!? It basically means that before 9pm broadcasters aren't allowed to broadcast any shows that have nudity or swearing in them based on the fact that many younger children would (should) be in bed by that time!. After this time they are!.
The shows you have been watching online were probably versions that were broadcast 'after watershed' time!.
Most shows do start and finish on the hour here too!. However, there has been a growing swing to shows that start and finish on the quarter-past, quarter-to and half-past time too!. Some shows to overrun of course, though!. also, BBC is one of the rare channels that doesn't feature any commercial ads, just promo ads for their channel!.

no bbc1 (main channel - there is bbc2 aswell but it has mainly documentaries and sport on it, other bbc's you get on sky digital - satelite tv) is not cable, it's a terrestrial station, as in everyone gets it!.
