Ok, so last I started watching Big Brother 10!. I admit its very interesting!.

There is a group of people who are basically locked into a "house" on the CBS lot in L!.A!., and each week one is sent home by a vote of their housemates!. Each week they have to compete in challenges to win titles like "Head of Household" - this person gets to nominate the 2 housemates up for eviction, and "Power of Veto" - this person can take one of the nominees off the chopping block or use it on themselves, of course, if they are one of the nominees!. There are also various games and contests which determine what kind of food and drinks they get during the week (often, some are on "slop" a nasty kind of tasteless gruel - they seem to hate it! lol)!. At the end of the season, it comes down to the final 2 guests and after a final vote determined by a "jury" of some of the evicted housemates, the winner gets $500,000 - which never seemed like a particularly big prize for a TV show to me, especially when you consider they are literally on camera 24 hours a day, seven days a week for a few months, away from their jobs, family, friends, etc!.
