Did you pay good money to see a stand up comedian and think 'what a lot of garbage!?' or watch them on tv and physically cringe!?

I'm going to have to go with Ricky Gervais - he's a really good script writer and I loved Extra's but his stand up isn't up to scratch!.
I seen his FAME show and it wasn't all that funny!. Plus when he did the Diana concert gig and he had to ad lib for 10mins he crashed and burned big time!.
If he's not scripted he's not funny!!!

for me their are quite a few unfunny comedians, amongst them Mike Reid (didn't laugh once) Dave Allen, Jim Davidson, and the one which i was really really disappointed with was Alan Carr, because on Friday Night Project and Celebrity Ding Dong he is really funny, but his stand up was absolutely crap!.
Graham Norton the same on TV can be really funny, but his stand up shows were awfulWww@Enter-QA@Com

I don't want to pelt the TV, as virtually anything by him to me his cringeworthy so I turn thre TV off!. The exceptions being "The Young Ones", and of course the look on his face when Labour lost the election in the early 80'!.!. that was in my view his best comedic performance EVER
mind you there are plenty of other contenders for the crown
