Question: GH fans, do the writers care at all what the fans want!?
They keep shoveling out these stupid storylines!.!.!.Lulu on the run for killing Logan which anyone with any sense what know was self defense!.!.!.!.!.!.Carly stooping to throwing herself at a man!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Carly telling Jason to treat Sonny as an enemy and take him out if necessary!! It's not the GH I want, how about you!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

The headwriter, Bob Guza, has all but stated outright in interviews that not only does he not care what the fans want, but he doesn't want anyone as a fan who won't conform to his asstastic "vision!." I forget which, but either Guza or Brian Frons (executive producer of this crapfest) stated in an interview that the audience has to be "trained" -- his word, not mine -- to like what they want us to like, as if we're a bunch of monkeys who won't learn their circus tricks!. The idiots in charge of this show are nothing if not disgustingly arrogant!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
My feeling is no, they don't seem to care too much what the fans want!. We want love in the afternoon, and what we get is mob wars in the afternoon!. Obviously, there's some miscommunication between Guza and the fans!. Or Guza is just an idiot (which is probably closer to the truth)!.
His day will come!. Writers come and go and, someday, his reign of bad-storylines will end!. Until then, just keep pushing the ffwd button (thank goodness for that little button!. I don't know what I'd do w/o it!.) ;-)Www@Enter-QA@Com

simple answer- NO- Guzza does what HE wants- fans are too be like Dumb sheep and follow him!.
and most soaps use "focus groups" - random people gathered to get their opinions on tv shows and commericals- most are NOT soap watchers- they see clips and give their feedback- so they usuallyhave no idea of a show's/character's history- just their first impressions
ADDED- I found part of the "viewers need to be trained" quote- discussed on a message board
it was from ABC Daytime President Brian Frons ( he is even worse than Guzza if you can believe that)

I agree--I started watching this soap about 2 years ago and have been hooked--because they always had great story lines!. But lately--the whole Eli Love-Robyn and Patrick story line-and some other stuff has just been so boring!!! I want my old GH back too-----------Www@Enter-QA@Com
