I'm looking for a specific Star Trek TNG episode...?!

Unfortunately, all I remember is one scene!. The crew was going over a ship (I think) that was in total wreckage!. Yes, that's vague!. I do remember more: Geordi's VISOR had been hooked up to the viewscreen so that the people on the Enterprise could see what he saw!. I think it was Picard who asked what Geordi was seeing because one figure had a different appearance!. Geordi laughed and answered that it was Data!. Anyone recognize this!?
