Mr Kyle is simply a modern day version of the Victorian showmen who used to travel with fairs running sideshows!. Dont think so, there are loads of people like those shown who are willing to go on t!.v and shame themselves and their families for a bit of luxury (stay in a hotel, all paid etc)
I think the only show that uses actors is obviously Jerry Springer, that def!. looks made up!. Can't stand the show but have briefly seen it!.

I've often wondered that as though i watch it I sometimes think it has to be made up!. It made me laugh recently when ITV received a complaint about forgetting to bleep a swear word and they said that reason it was unbleeped was they couldn't understand her scottish accent!.
