I'm thinking that is is Dr!. Decker (maybe her dad) trying to avenge Sophie's death and get to anybody who he thinks may have hurt her!. She never said who her parents were (she said they were dead), and that she grew up with her grandmother till she died and then was is an orphanage!. We know that she wasn't in the group home she said she was in because Meg went there and spoke with the head nun who said that she was never there!.

At first I thought the Sophie had something to do with it, because everyone was getting jewelry for gifts!. I was reading somewhere that maybe Dr!. Decker was involved in all the poisoning!. I also heard that what if Dr!. Decker was Sophie's dad and now he is punishing everyone that let Sophie down!. I'm not completley sure who's doing it, but if i had to guess I would say Sophie or Dr!.
