Need Help Finding The Name Of An X-Files Episode?!

OK like 5 years ago when the x-files was popular i saw and episode it was one were they were looking for a creature int he woods that broke into a house and had GLOWING RED eyes i was 9 and i am now scared of 2 glowing red things but at the end of the episode they are looking for the creature with infrared camras and they don't see anything no animals or anything then (get kinda skechy) folow it into a well or somesort of hole and they never get to it and then they come up with a theroy that it was some explores that were lost they and lived or the anamils for 500 years or something
