Robert Clary, the actor who played the French "hero", is a Holocaust survivor!. He was a prisoner in Nazi death camps and wrote a book about his experiences, "From the Holocaust to Hogan's Heroes!."
He didn't have a problem with Hogan's Heroes, and when I asked him about it pointed out that the show took place in a POW camp, not a death camp!. There's a HUGE difference!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

many of the actors were jewish and a few were in germany during the holocaust or had immediate family memebers there if i remember correctly !. if they had no problem with it why should anyone else, besides they made the nazi's look like fools in every episode so what is the problemWww@Enter-QA@Com
