You can't be all sweet and charming one minute, and a psycho the next!.

Not really!. Especially if it is over cigarettes with Mo!. How would you like it if you took in 10packs of cigarettes and the person who has smoked most of them is Mo, asking you to spare him some fags several times a day, day after day, week after week, with nothing in return!.
