As much as I also dislike American Idol, it is a highly watched television program and frequently finishes in the top 3 of most watched shows each week in the Nielsen's ratings!.

lol I have on occasion watched the beginning where it shows the try outs but thats about it oh and I saw Daughtry in concert if that counts as being a " Idle " fan!.
