Question: For those aged 25 and older, a Nickelodeon question!?
Ok, remember when Nickelodeon used to run those little segments about whatever!? Like when they had the cat and the hippo playing sports and the cat was a jerk!? (I think it was French)!. Anyway, I recall vaguely there was one 10-or-so minute live action (non-cartoon) segment about this black kid who had a snake named Nigel, and there was a song with it, that sang "Nigel! Nigel!" in 70's kids-chorus fashion!? Does this ring a bell with anyone!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I know what you're talking about!. The show was called "Vegetable Soup" which aired in 1976 and was a mixture of many cultures!.
It ran on PBS, NBC and Nickelodeon and in 1977 there was also a "Vegetable Soup II"!. And yes there was a little boy with a big snake named "Nigel"!.
