Doctor who animated?!

Question: Doctor who animated!?
if they can do an 8th AND A 10th doctor cartoon then why can’t they do more featuring the others!? I mean most of the previous doctors are still alive, and although they look old they still have the voices and could carry on!. If done right I know people would watch!. It would be like the star trek and star wars animated series but done better!. Plus they could help replace the lost episode the BBC lost!. How would we get something like that idea to BBC!? We have to do something!. i for one would not mind someone doing past doctors voices providing they were good impersonations, and i KNOW that some of the present doctors (EXCEPT ECCLESTON and possibly tom) would jump at the chance to do it
i know firsthand that tom will not take up any place in the new dr!. who series unless he has direct control of the script, sooo that pretty much rules him out pit he was my first doctor!. As for that little **** Christopher Eccleston (sorry!!! sorry!!! forgive my French) but he only used the who chair as aWww@Enter-QA@Com

Last year they released a version of the 2nd Doctor story "The Invasion" which included animated reconstructions of the two missing episodes in the story!. I wish they would do something similar for the other 106 missing episodes from the Hartnell/Troughton era, but unfortunately the BBC are now saying that the animations cost too much money!.

Apparently a Doctor Who fan who is also a professional animator is working on a private project to make an animated reconstruction of the 2nd Doctor story "Evil of the Daleks"!. Obviously he's doing it in his spare time though, so it could take years to finish (look it up in google - the available scenes at the moment look excellent)

And I agree about doing new animations as well!. All the surviving Doctors except Tom Baker and Christopher Eccleston have been involved in doing Big Finish audio plays, so I would imagine they all would be interested in voicing animated versions of the stories!.

I reckon a great idea for the 45th anniversary this November, would have been an animated story featuring all the surviving Doctors together, perhaps even with an impressionist like Jon Culshaw voicing the parts of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Doctors!. It seems that nobody at the BBC has had any similar ideas though unfortunately!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

the main factor would be the expense wether they could recoup the cost in sales!.although new doctor who merchandise sells across the board old who is more of a niche market!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Check out the mass of material on Wikpedia!. Search Doctor Who and you will find all kinds of entries about what is available!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
