I asked a similar Q - one minute they ran away and never went back, the next they went back the next day and don't forget her house is haunted and that the Universe needs Mario etc etc etc

There was something else she lied about too - she said she had peeled over 2,000 spuds before because her uncle was involved in a 'catering thing'!! She is just following on Mario's tradition of lying and having done everything and anything!
